  • NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF A ZONING BY-LAW BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH

    TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Municipality of North Perth passed By-law No. 23-2024 on the 8th day of April, 2024, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

    AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in respect of the By-law by filing with the Clerk of the Municipality of North Perth not later than the 1st, day of May, 2024, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection and accompanied by the proper fee.

  • Change in Fire Department Services

    Please be advised that the North Perth Fire Department will be transferring emergency dispatching from Stratford Fire Department to Owen Sound Police Service Emergency Communication Centre as of Wednesday, January 5th 2022.

  • Fireworks Only Permitted on two Occasions in North Perth

    Reminder to all North Perth residents, in accordance with North Perth by-law 56-AD-2001; Fireworks are only permitted on two occasions per year in North Perth.

  • Yard Waste Disposal Available at the Landfill

    Reminder to all North Perth residents that yard waste can be disposed of at the Elma Landfill year round free of charge.

    The Municipality of North Perth is undertaking a Servicing Master Plan for stormwater, wastewater and water servicing in the communities of Listowel and Atwood.

  • Backyard Burning in Urban Areas: Regulations and Complaint Reporting

    In recent years, the North Perth Fire Department, By-law Enforcement Staff, as well as Perth County OPP, have received and responded to increased calls and concerns related to backyard burning in residential areas, particularly in the spring and summer months.
