Notice of Building Code Transition

The 2024 Ontario Building Code (OBC) replaces the 2012 Ontario Building Code (as amended). These changes aim to improve safety standards, energy efficiency, and accessibility in buildings. The new OBC moves closer to the National Building Code as Ontario continues to try to align its regulations with the National Building Code to enhance consistency across the country.
