North Perth Recreation Facilities Re-opening to the Public on January 31st
In response to the recent announcement from the Province of Ontario, Municipally operated recreation facilities in North Perth will re-open to the public on Monday January 31, 2022. All provincial guidelines/restrictions will be followed, including proof of vaccination requirements. QR Codes will be the only proof of vaccination accepted at all Municipal recreation facilities.
We look forward to the return of Public Skating, Parent & Tot Skate, Senior/Adult Skate, Senior Stick & Puck, Walking Track and Fitness Classes. Visit our North Perth Community Calendar for program dates and times.
The North Perth Public Library will re-open to the public on Monday February 7, 2022. They will continue to offer curbside services until then. Operating updates will be provided via the North Perth Public Library social media accounts. For questions regarding North Perth Public Library operations or curbside pickup, please call 519-291-4621.
The North Perth Municipal Office will remain closed to the public until at least February 22, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. During the continued office closure, staff are available via phone and email while continuing to work remotely when possible. The Municipality encourages residents to make payments for Property Tax, Utilities and Accounts Receivable invoices through online banking, at your financial institution, by mail or by using the drop box at the front of the municipal office. Citizens requiring a municipal service that cannot be served by an alternative transactional method (i.e. online or by phone), must make an appointment to meet with staff in person. Please contact the Customer Service Associate at 519-291-2950 or reception@northperth.ca to enquire on booking an appointment.
While we are thrilled to be able to re-open our facilities and offer programs to the public again, we are aware that COVID-19 is still present in our community and may have an impact on our operations. In order to continue to provide services safely for both our staff and the community, closures and cancellations may occur. If staff availability becomes an issue, essential functions, such as water, wastewater, snow clearing, etc., will be given priority. Continue to monitor the Municipal website www.northperth.ca and social media for updates, and closure/cancellation announcements.
Additional information regarding municipal services and a staff directory can be found online www.northperth.ca.
Individuals who have questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 should contact Huron Perth Public Health at 1-888-221-2133 or visit https://www.hpph.ca/en/index.aspx.
