NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT HEARING

Public input on applications is invited.  Pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act, the Committee of Adjustment for the Municipality of North Perth invites you to consider applications for minor variance and/or to forward written comments prior to the hearing.  During this time, written comments are preferred method of receiving public input.  Written comments may be sent by email or hand delivered to the municipal office drop box.  You can also provide oral input by joining the meeting.

RE: AN APPLICATION BY: James Watson on behalf of Matt Harrison and Luke Williams

LOCATION OF PROPERTY: East Part Lot 17, Plan 159, Listowel Ward, Municipality of North Perth (640 Elizabeth Street West)

PURPOSE OF APPLICATION: The purpose of the application for minor variance is to request relief from Section 10.7.4 a) of the North Perth Zoning By-law to reduce the minimum interior side yard width from 1.8 m to 1.5 m to facilitate the construction of a 1-storey, Fourplex.

PUBLIC HEARING: You are entitled to participate in this public hearing to express your views about this application or you may be represented by counsel for that purpose.  If you are aware of any person interested in or affected by this application who has not received a copy of this notice you are requested to inform that person of this hearing. 

If a person or public body does not participate in this public hearing to the North Perth Committee of Adjustment before the Decision is made, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the North Perth Committee of Adjustment to the Ontario Land Tribunal.

FAILURE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HEARING If you do not participate in this public hearing it may proceed in your absence and, except as otherwise provided in the Planning Act, you will not be entitled to any further notice in the proceedings.

NOTICE OF DECISION A copy of the decision of the Committee will be sent to the applicant and to each person who participated in this public hearing or by counsel at the hearing and who has filed with the Secretary a written request for notice of the decision.
