We are North Perth Proud!

Our community, North Perth, grows and innovates. Our community is driven to succeed. Our community is the agricultural heart of Ontario – just a visit to the outskirts of Listowel or our other villages brings to sight handsome farms that include cows, pigs, alpacas and a range of crops. We have an outstanding Agricultural Society that builds bridges in our community. We are a great place to do business, with outstanding physical and digital infrastructure. We are home to many thriving businesses – in manufacturing, in finance, in food services, in commerce - that have both local and global impact. We have outstanding sports teams and a wealth of sports talent, and are increasingly becoming a destination for sports training and special events. We have a rich program of activities and events, the envy of many other small communities. We have a vibrant arts community that creates beauty for the eyes and ears. We have outstanding healthcare infrastructure and dedicated healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to promote health and keep us healthy. We are home to some of the most hospitable people in Ontario – people who will welcome you with a smile, a wave, and an act of kindness. We are a community of volunteers, who create great opportunities for service and fun. We are a community that knows how to celebrate – with Paddyfest, one of North America’s larger St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, in Listowel in March, remarkably rich Canada’s Day festivities in Atwood at the end of June, and Spinrite’s Yarn Bomb in August. We are – quite simply – community!
