Perth Community Future Development Corporation provides loans for business start-up, stabilization and expansion in the Perth County region up to $250,000. Perth CFDC can also help you with the grant process by providing guidance on what grant is right for you and reviewing your application prior to submission.

Façade Improvement Program

The Municipality of North Perth has developed a Façade Improvement Program for businesses operating in the downtowns of Listowel, Atwood, and Monkton. This program has been designed to alleviate the costs of property renovations and improve the quality of our downtowns. Learn more on the Façade Improvement Program page.

Attainable Housing Financial Incentive Programs

The Municipality of North Perth has developed an Attainable Housing Community Improvement Plan (CIP), featuring several financial incentive programs for residential and mixed-use commercial properties in North Perth. The goal of the CIP is to minimize financial barriers to the creation of rental affordable and attainable housing and encourage the development of a mix of housing along the Housing Continuum within North Perth. Provincial

The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade is responsible for delivering business support programs throughout Ontario. The Ministry offers many hiring and training incentives for employers, including:

  • Farmers
  • Food and beverage processors
  • Bioproducts producers
