The Memorial Park Rehabilitation Committee is beginning a fundraising campaign for the Listowel Memorial Park Walkway and Lighting Improvements project. Through this project, a new concrete and stonedust walkway and enhanced LED lighting will be installed. The Municipality of North Perth, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and Trillium Mutual Insurance have joined resources to help reduce auto thefts in the area. In 2016, Perth County OPP responded to 67 separate incidents of auto theft and recovered stolen motor vehicles in the Municipality of North Perth. North Perth Council received an update on the Municipality’s assets at the Council Meeting on Monday, May 29, 2017.
