Building and Renovating

The primary role of the Building Department is to review building permit applications, issue building permits and inspect the construction of buildings as they progress.  Every application is reviewed in accordance with the Building Code Act and Ontario Building Code.  The enforcement of the code is to ensure that the minimum standard of health, life and fire safety standards are maintained through the buildings and structures in our community.
